The Shiba Inu team is currently working on the layer 2 protocol, Shibarium. The update will allow users to transfer low gas fees by facilitating microtransactions via Shiba Inu-based dApps. The team has commissioned new developers to create the platform’s interface and web portals as part of the same process. Lead developer Shytoshi Kusama reported in a blog post in July that work is ongoing, with developers yet to set a beta launch date. In other words, although new updates have been introduced, the official release dates are not yet clear.

Along with the above, SHI, a stablecoin, is also expected to be released this year. SHI will fill an important gap for transactions that need to be done without market fluctuations, especially after Terra. On the other hand, TREAT, a new token to be used as a reward token on the Shiba Inu-based metaverse and card game Shiba Eternity, is also coming soon. A recent Changelly blog post predicted that the SHIB price would go up to $0.000005048. On the other hand, experts also consider the possibility of a drop to $0.00004183. If these estimates hold, the potential ROI for the year in question will be 322%. Analysts predict that by 2025, the SHIB price will trade at an average of $0.00004335.

Additionally, according to Telegaon experts, the Shiba price will reach a new ATH in 2025. On the contrary, even if enough tokens are burnt this year, they are not very hopeful about the price increase in 2022. Experts predict that SHIB will be at most $0.0001928 and at least $0.000009839. They also predict that by 2025, its average price will be around $0.0001152.

The Changelly blog post we quoted above stated that SHIB will average $0.00030921 in 2030. Experts predict that the ceiling and floor prices will be $0.00035649 and $0.00029857, respectively. They estimate the potential return on investment for SHIB to be 2,878% in 2030.
