The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that it has delayed its decision on Grayscale’s spot Bitcoin ETF.

Grayscale is attempting to convert the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) into an ETF. The SEC also delayed its decision in December.

James Seyffart of Bloomberg Intelligence said that the SEC will make its decision on the ETF proposal in early July.

The SEC approved the first Bitcoin ETF proposal last year.
