In a statement made by the bank, he said that the staking service, which will be made available at the institutional level, allows its users to earn rewards on their ETH holdings on a monthly basis.

Ethereum Staking Step from SEBA Bank

SEBA Bank has activated Ethereum staking services for its institutional clients ahead of its Merge event, which is expected to take place in the middle of this month.

SEBA Bank states that the staking service it launched for its corporate customers allows its users to earn rewards on their ETH assets on a monthly basis. Those who deposit more than 32 ETH (around $48,500) on SEBA will then have a bank-managed validator.

Mathias Schutz, head of technology and customer solutions at the bank, said in a statement:

“The launch of our Ethereum staking services will enable institutional investors to play a key role in securing the future of the network.”

As complex as it is, Merge is fundamental to the Ethereum ecosystem and even cryptocurrency as a whole. While Ethereum’s transition to the Proof of Stake consensus is expected to be completed on September 15, affiliates are also updating their services.
