Season Two Statement from the Director of Squid Game

The first season of 9 episodes of the popular Netflix series Squid Game was broadcast on September 17. The series has attracted great attention around the world since its release. Writer and Director Hwang Dong-hyuk had previously stated that it is very difficult to write and direct a drama like this alone, which is why working on the second season worries him. In return for the overwhelming interest, Hwang Dong-hyuk confirmed that the second season will be filmed, saying, “Gi-hun will return and do something for the world, I promise you that.”
