While augmented reality (AR) technologies continued to become more popular with each passing day, many technology companies were making moves in this area. Now, Israel-based Sightful has introduced a product that we can see frequently in the future.

The device, called Spacetop, is a laptop without a screen. The company describes Spacetop as “the world’s first augmented reality laptop.”

Spacetop brings you the 100-inch screen

Spacetop, which comes without a screen, comes with an NReal augmented reality glasses and keyboard. The device completely eliminates the need for a physical screen, with virtual screens of 100 inches in total. The glasses project the screens directly in front of the user, regardless of where they are. These screens are not visible to other people.

Spacetop comes with Snapdragon 865 processor and Adreno 650 GPU. 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage are also available on the device. These features put the device in the same class as some phones that support AR glasses.

In addition, the computer is 1.57 inches high, 10.47 inches wide and weighs 1.4 kg. Let’s not forget that the computer has more than five hours of battery life.

Emphasizing that laptops are at the center of our daily lives, the company stated that Spacetop is very suitable for working from home or anywhere. Tamir Berliner, one of the founders of Sightful, said that augmented reality has great potential; however, he added that it has not yet found a place for daily use, so it is time for a change.

Spacetop will only go on sale for 1000 people for now. There is no information on the price of the device and when it will be offered more widely.
