Chinese scientists discovered that exposure to terahertz waves to be used in 6G technology can cause an increase in brain cells.

The experiments were done on mice, and it turned out that a small dose of terahertz radiation affects the production of certain proteins in the brain that stimulate the growth of neurons. Although neurons are not damaged by radiation, research will continue as the effect of 6G waves on the brain is still a cause for concern. Terahertz waves are known to have a significantly higher frequency than the millimeter waves (MMW) used in 5G.
It also increases the temperature of brain cells
As an additional cause for concern, scientists point to a 2009 study by the Russian Academy of Sciences. It was found that intense exposure to terahertz radiation for several hours can cause an increase in the temperature of brain cells.
In addition, Beijing researchers say the discovery could help evaluate new communication technologies and develop therapies for treating brain diseases.
