Introduced at CES 2023, the Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Slim Hub is a more compact and affordable version of the Thunderbolt 4 Dock. Satechi designs most of its products with the Apple aesthetic; Slim Hub is no different. Made of aerospace aluminum with curved corners. The stylish and modern duplicator for Mac computers is among the accessories that can be preferred to reduce clutter to provide a tidy workspace.
Thunderbolt 4 output ports offer transfer speeds up to 40Gbps, 15W fast charging for iPhones. Thunderbolt ports, USB 4 and USB-C (1st and 2nd generation) are backward compatible. The hub also has a USB-A port that offers speeds of up to 10Gbps.
Satechi states that it is designed for Thunderbolt 4 PCs and Thunderbolt 4/3-based Macs running macOS Big Sur and newer. Thunderbolt 4 Slim Hub supports connecting two 4K displays at 60Hz, a single 8K display at 30Hz, and a single 6K display on Macs with M1 and M2 processors.
