Popular metaverse platform The Sandbox continues to expand its reach with new partnerships. This time Sandbox announced that it has partnered with Warner Music Group to create a musical theme park and concert hall in the metaverse universe.
Sandbox aims to present a music-themed virtual world in a new partnership with Warner Music Group (WMG). In the announcement, the team stated that Warner stepped into the world of NFT and metaverse for the first time.
The Sandbox team added that WMG has purchased a “LAND” that will act as a portal for its artists to appear in the metaverse.

In this new project, Warner’s leading artists will feast at the musical theme park and concert hall. The first music world will be created in the Sandbox metaverse, and it will offer a new service to users with live concerts and music experiences involving WMG artists.
Announcing its plans for the Hong Kong-connected megacity earlier this month, Sandbox will hold a LAND sale near this new venue, allowing audiophiles to own a virtual plot of land.
Sébastien Borget, COO and co-founder of The Sandbox, said that this strategic partnership takes the metaverse one step further and the possibilities are very exciting.
We announced that The Sandbox has launched a $50 million accelerator program with venture firm Brinc. The Sandbox Metaverse Accelerator Program is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2022 and is targeted to invest $250,000 in one hundred projects over the next three years.
