Metaverse platform The Sandbox wants to expand its global metaverse side in the banking industry. For this, The Sandbox and South Korean bank KEB Hana Bank formed a new partnership.
The Sandbox and KEB Hana Bank Shake Hands
A partnership agreement was signed at Metaverse platform The Sandbox and KEB Hana Bank, which has the widest range of foreign exchange products in South Korea. With this partnership, a new type of event marketing will be launched.
The partnership will include providing core banking services and evaluating investment opportunities with other partners of The Sandbox. In addition, a virtual branch will be opened in The Sandvox’s metaverse.

On the other hand, Hana Financial Group will promote all its content on K-verse to reach Generation Z.
Speaking on the subject, Cindy Lee, CEO of The Sandbox Korea, said in a statement, “We are excited to see KEB Hana Bank enter the metaverse to create new content types. “This will be the next frontier of easy-to-use metaverse banking for users.”
KEB Hana Bank Vice President Jung Kim said:
“The metaverse is the way people experience Web3, and we want to be part of this new trend. This partnership could open the door to a whole new type of service, especially for the younger generation.”
