Samsung is preparing to launch a new era in foldable telephone technology. The company confirmed that it is working on a (Tri-Fold) model that can be folded in the Galaxy S25 event. The device is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2025, while the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 models will be introduced in the same period.

According to industry resources, Samsung’s Tri-Fold model will have a 6.49-inch cover screen. An interesting detail is the claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have the same screen size. This shows that Samsung focuses on offering a wider use experience by giving up the narrow cover screens in previous generations.

Unlike Huawei’s Tri-Fold model, Samsung’s new device will use a G-shaped folding mechanism. In this way, the screen will be completely closed and any part will not be exposed. Thus, a more robust structure is offered, while the durability of the device will increase.

Samsung plans to use a new screen and protective film specially developed for this model. However, due to the complexity of production, the device is expected to be produced in a limited number. This makes it a prestigious product, which is mostly positioned in the upper segment.

Although there is no clear information about the price, considering that Huawei’s similar model is released around $ 2,800, Samsung’s Tri-Fold model is expected to have a price tag at the same level.
