Samsung officially announced its next flagship Exynos chip, the Exynos 2400, at its System LSI developer conference. Although Samsung has not officially confirmed this chip will be used in the Galaxy S24 series. On the other hand, Samsung also announced a brand new camera feature called Zoom Anyplace.

Samsung Zoom Anyplace

The South Korean giant also introduced Zoom Anyplace technology, based on the company’s own 200 MP image sensor, for the first time at System LSI. This sensor innovation will provide a completely new camera zoom experience, allowing mobile users to take up to 4x close-up shots of moving objects without any image distortion. At least that’s exactly what Samsung claims.

While the AI-based tracking technology found in Zoom Anyplace automatically tracks and captures objects, recordings are made simultaneously in full screen, ensuring that no moment or detail is captured. It is not exactly clear how the technology will work, but if it does what is expected, we can say that the 200MP camera of the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be located in front of the sensor used in the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

However, phones on the Android front – including Samsung – have difficulties, especially in zoom performance and quality. Problems such as image loss, smooth transitions and blurring occur on most devices. Zoom Anyplace seems to try to solve exactly these with its artificial intelligence support.

Speaking of artificial intelligence, the performance improvement of Exynos 2400 in this area was announced as exactly 14.7 times. In terms of processor performance, the new chip will offer 70 percent more performance than Samsung.
