Samsung introduced its newest foldable phone, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, at an event it held last month. These phones, which attract attention with their stylish designs and assertive features, have been opened to pre-order in our country in the past weeks.
However, Samsung’s new models reached users abroad earlier. In other words, users in different countries started to buy and use Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. But one of these models, Z Fold 3, unluckily exploded in the box.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 exploded while being boxed
The South Korean manufacturer’s first under-screen camera phone, Galaxy Z Fold 3, exploded in a box, according to a user’s report. This phone, which has only recently begun to reach its owners, would be sent to the service for the replacement of its broken screen.
However, the owner of the Z Fold 3 reported that while boxing the phone, it suddenly exploded and smoke began to come from the back. The user named Chad Christian, who shared this with the video he took, explained the situation to Samsung and took action to take the necessary action.
This time, Galaxy Z Fold 3 has joined Samsung’s exploding phone caravan. The manufacturer, who previously returned from the Galaxy Note 7 disaster, unfortunately could not prevent this situation in its new model.
Of course, it cannot be said that only Samsung phones have exploded. Because the phones of many manufacturers such as OnePlus, Xiaomi, OPPO and Vivo have also been on the agenda many times due to their self-explosion. However, the explosion of a new model like the Z Fold 3 confused some users.
The owner of the exploding Galaxy Z Fold 3 announced in a tweet that Samsung sent him a new box. However, no confirmation has yet been given about the exchange or refund of the phone.
