Technology giants have started using the Self Repair program on smartphones. Samsung, one of the pioneers of these, wants to expand the program it started in South Korea in the past period.
Samsung moves Self Repair to Europe at the end of June
Samsung has joined the self-repair program pioneered by Apple. The company wants to spread the application worldwide in a short time. The Samsung Self Repair program will be rolled out in some European countries by the end of this month. It will then apply to all regions where the company is in the market.
The Samsung Self Repair program will be implemented first in Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The program covers the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S23 series of flagship phones with spare screens, back panels and charging connectors.
Samsung provides a great convenience to its users with its new application launched in South Korea. The brand’s customers will now be able to order parts and equipment when their devices break down. In other words, you will be able to repair your own phone using original spare parts and quality equipment.
The operation of the system is quite simple. You own a Samsung device and your device has been damaged. You specify the model and problems of your device on websites. The brand sends you equipment and spare parts to help you solve the problem. Thus, you can do your own repair without taking your device out of warranty.
