It continues to work on the 5G supported version of the Galaxy A23 model, which Samsung launched in March. The new phone, which started to appear in various databases and performance tests, finally appeared on Geekbench.

While the details of the phone such as RAM and operating system were revealed, the Geekbench score was also revealed. Now, the latest details about the phone have emerged on the website of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). With this latest development, the countdown has begun for the budget-friendly phone with 5G support.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G has been revealed on the US FCC website with the following model numbers and versions:

  • SM-A236M/DS, SM-A236M/DSN, SM-A236M/N
  • SM-A236B/DS, SM-A236B/DSN, SM-A236B/N
  • SM-A236E/DS, SM-A236E/DSN, SM-A236E/N

On the FCC website, the upcoming Galaxy A23 5G has found its place in three different models and versions. According to the information shared by the FCC, the new phone seems to come with at least a triple rear camera setup. As the name suggests, the phone, which will come with 5G support, has multiple 5G bands.

Galaxy A23 5G will also come with dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 LE. The shared certificate also mentions microSD card and NFC support. The device will also support 25W fast charging. The phone will also include a 25W charging adapter in its box.

In the tests, it is seen that Samsung uses the 5,000 mAh battery of the Galaxy M52 5G in its new phone. This battery is also expected to be used in the new 5G-supported budget-friendly phone model. According to the Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G will come with Snapdragon 695 SoC processor, Adreno 619 graphics card, 4GB RAM and Android 12 operating system with One UI 4.0 support.
