Samsung brings a considerable number of smartphones to consumers every year, but it is thought that the South Korean company will present a more striking picture in 2022 in terms of numbers.
According to the analysis of market researcher TrendForce, 1.39 billion new phones will enter the market in 2022, with an increase of 3.8 percent. Samsung, on the other hand, wants to hold a significant portion of this cake, and according to the research results, the company has set its sights on 20 percent of this cake.
TrendForce thinks that Samsung will produce approximately 276 million smartphones next year, thus capturing 20 percent of the market. Samsung is expected to be followed by Apple with 18 percent, Xiaomi with 16 percent, OPPO with 15 percent and Vivo with 11 percent.
The first models that Samsung will launch in 2022 will be the Galaxy S22. It is thought that the company, which will start the year with 3 phones with the Galaxy S22 series, will launch 52 phone models throughout 2022.
