The Samsung Z Flip, called a flip phone, has managed to win the admiration of many users. According to the information leaked in Webio, Huawei has accelerated its work for the cover phone called Mate V.
The Mate V, which is stated to have a hinge produced by Zhaoli Technology, will have a simple hinge system. It is stated that the company is trying to develop a useful model without sacrificing quality.
Huawei Mate V will have polymer layer cooling technology
Another remarkable feature of the model developed by the company is the cooling technology to be used. The patent that Huawei submitted to the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) in mid-2020 was published on November 25, 2021. The technology in the 46-page document titled “Heat pipe for electronic device and its production method” is designed to be suitable for all foldable phones.
Users now perform their transactions via smartphones or tablets. Devices, where many operations such as games, video rendering and graphic design can be performed, give users a hard time due to the heating problem. Since the heat pipes used by smartphone manufacturers are made of hard material, they cannot fully adapt to foldable devices.
Wanting to distribute the heat equally on both sides of the device, Huawei made this possible with polymer layers. Xiaomi, one of Huawei’s most formidable competitors, used a special liquid cooling technology consisting of thermal gel, graphite plates and copper foil in the Mi MIX Fold model. Xiaomi calls the technology it has developed “the most luxurious and advanced heat dissipation technology in the industry”.
It is not yet known what features the Huawei Mate V model will be introduced with, except for the cooling technology. It is estimated that the company will introduce the new model in 2022.
