Presenting this as an “innovation” that improves compatibility and connectivity, Apple’s competitors have never hesitated to express their opinions on the subject. Especially Apple’s biggest rival Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus and Nokia shared posts about the issue on their official X (Twitter) accounts.
Who said what?
Samsung sarcastically said that Tim Cook should have introduced the USB-C port on the iPhone 15 under the slogan “One more thing”. Apple usually says this before announcing something revolutionary like the Vision Pro headset.
OnePlus did not remain silent either. The Chinese company reminded that its flagships had a USB-C connector in 2015 (8 years ago).
Xiaomi reminded that its first budget-friendly device with a 48 MP camera is Redmi Note 15. However, Xiaomi does not take into account that camera resolution is not everything and often does not reflect the quality of shooting.
The most detailed comment was made by Nokia. The company compared the iPhone 15 with the Nokia G42 5G, which is also pink in color, has USB-C, a 50MP camera, 6GB RAM, but is five times cheaper.
