Recently, we have seen that the RAM capacity of some smartphones has been increased in a virtual way. We shared with you that this additional RAM support, also found in OPPO phones, came to the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G a while ago.
This feature, called RAM Plus, is similar to Windows borrowing some storage space in addition to physical memory capacity and using it as virtual RAM.
When Samsung introduced the RAM Plus feature with an update for the Galaxy A52s model last month, it was almost certain that this feature would come to mid-range phones as well. But the South Korean company does not seem to be content with it.
With the upcoming updates, Samsung will offer the RAM Plus feature to its flagship smartphones as well as its mid-range smartphones. It is even stated that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 with 12 GB of RAM will also benefit from it, so that the RAM capacity of the phone can reach 16 GB.
We will have to wait for future updates for the new RAM Plus feature to spread to the models.
