Samsung is working on One UI 5.0 update based on Android 13. Incoming information is that the company will start open beta tests in the next three to four months. Sources close to the South Korean tech giant say that the beta version will arrive by July.

It looks like Samsung will be ahead of last year’s schedule. As you may remember, the tests started in August in 2021. This time the beta version of the new One UI will be available earlier. Bringing the calendar forward will give the company more time to beta test the interface.
New flagships will be upgraded first
Android 13 based One UI 5.0 update will be rolled out gradually as always. First the new flagships, and then the old flagships will be upgraded to the new version. The update will then be released for the new Galaxy A models and then other devices.
