Entering the foldable smartphone market with the Galaxy Z Fold, Samsung has attracted attention by introducing many foldable smartphone models in recent years. Especially popular with the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3, foldable smartphones are on their way to becoming the most important mobile investment for Samsung.

Samsung will put less emphasis on Galaxy S and Galaxy A series

According to the news of The Korea Times, Samsung will give more importance to foldable smartphones to compete with Apple. In the past weeks, there was news that Samsung has 50 million surplus stock, the majority of which are thought to be Galaxy A and Galaxy S series phones. As the global increase in inflation affects mostly mid-range smartphones, Samsung will take steps towards high-end smartphones.

Having achieved serious success with the Galaxy S 22 Ultra, Samsung will most likely not reduce its focus on the Galaxy S Ultra series. However, rising inflation and Apple’s success at the top will affect Samsung’s investments in the mid-range. Samsung’s next foldable smartphones, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, will be introduced on August 10.
