The South Korean giant has been testing one UI 7, which is a very comprehensive update for months, and hasn’t been able to reach the stable version to the old models. The company announced that the One UI 7 will be distributed from next month.
Android will come on June 16
Samsung, who does not want to experience the same delay again, keeps his hand quickly this time. Google aims to launch Android 16 in June, an early date from previous versions. Therefore, users who receive the One UI 7 update, before it is too late (at least we hope that) will switch to One UI 8. Because, one UI 8 will not bring very comprehensive changes compared to 7.
According to the Tarun Vats user in X, the first One UI 8 version of Samsung was seen on Samsung’s device software servers for the Galaxy S25 series. The user says Samsung started the development process two months before normal. This gives us the hope that the One UI 8 will come without much delay.
