Market analysis firm IDC has announced that Samsung is the most successful mobile phone manufacturer globally in the first quarter of 2022. According to the new report, Samsung sold about 74 million mobile phones in the first quarter of 2022. According to these figures, Samsung is ahead of Apple with 23.4 percent in the global mobile phone market.
Apple, the strongest competitor of Samsung in the mobile phone industry, ranks second with 56 million smartphone sales. Its market share is estimated to be around 18%. Immediately after these two are Chinese mobile phone manufacturers Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo. Ranked 3rd, Xiaomi estimates its market share to be 12.7 percent. It is followed by Oppo with 8.7 percent and Vivo with 8.1 percent.
