Google releases a new version of the Android operating system every year. Android phone manufacturers also renew their Android-based operating systems every year. One of these brands is, of course, Samsung. Accelerating its work on Android with Google, Samsung has already started testing for Android 14-based One UI 6.0.
Samsung has started Android 14 tests
While Google continues to work on Android 14, Samsung will start offering One UI 6.0 to some smartphone models in the second half of 2023. The company has been performing One UI 6.0 tests on some of its models for the new operating system update for a while.
It would not be wrong to say that the models that the company started One UI 6.0 tests early on will also receive Android 14 earlier. The South Korean manufacturer has given priority to flagship models for Android 14, as expected.
It shows on Samsung’s servers that the company is already testing One UI 6.0 internally on the Galaxy S23 series. On the other hand, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 models are among the leading devices for the Android 14 update.
We can say that the Galaxy S22, the flagship model of the company last year, will also receive the One UI 6.0 update immediately after these devices. In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 models will be among the first to receive the Android 14 update.
