Galaxy A series could be scaled down
According to a new report, there will be no successor to the Galaxy A24 next year. It is estimated that Samsung will launch the Galaxy A15, Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 in 2024, but the company will cancel the Galaxy A2x series.
It is reported that Samsung wants to increase profitability while reducing development costs by reducing the number of Galaxy A devices developed in just one year. Whether the downsizing strategy will lead to better mid-range phones in the Galaxy A series is up for debate. In theory, focusing on fewer models could allow Samsung to develop better phones and offer better software support.
At the end of the day, we can’t be too sure if the Galaxy A series will be scaled down next year. After all, we’ve just entered 2023 and most of this year’s Galaxy A models haven’t even been released yet. It is even said that Samsung will make changes in the Galaxy S series next year and that the S24 + model may not be. However, Samsung’s 2023 expectations are not very bright financially.
