Samsung talked about its important plans for 2025 in its earnings report for the third quarter of 2024. This report by the company is an important indicator that a product for mixed reality may be released next year. Likewise, when introducing the Galaxy S24 at the beginning of the year, Samsung gave hints that it was working on such a device.
Prominent reports indicate that Samsung will feature a custom version of Android that uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 processor and is optimized for mixed reality devices.
The technical features of the new mixed reality device are not yet clear, but according to some sources, this device is likely to be in the form of glasses rather than a headset. However, we have to wait a while for more details.
