Samsung announced its new microLED display solutions at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2022 fair held in Barcelona. While The Wall and The Wall All-in-One new generation screens marked the conference, the company’s EV charging station and hybrid class technology did not go unnoticed.
Samsung announces new products with microLED displays
Samsung Electronics showcased its innovative microLED displays at Integrated Systems Europe 2022. Three new models have been announced for The Wall, which has a huge screen size. The company believes that these products will determine the future of microLED technology.
According to Hyesung Ha, Vice President of Visual Display at Samsung Electronics, microLED technology will be developed to define the future of display innovation from the luxury industry to hospitality and travel.
The Wall
The new imaging technologies, announced under the IWB model name, have 0.63 and 0.94 pixel pitches. According to Samsung’s statement at ISE 2022, 0.63 pixels means the smallest pixel pitch ever in The Wall series.
The Wall offers a variety of screen sizes, from 4K for 110 inches to 8K for 220 inches; It features Samsung’s most detailed dynamic range expansion with 120Hz frame rate, HDR10/10+ and LED HDR.
In addition, Samsung has an artificial intelligence device that “instantly analyzes every second of content and optimizes picture quality” on screens. It says it’s the processor. Also, the new display is available for pre-order worldwide.
The Wall All-in-One
Another product showcased in Barcelona was The Wall All-in-One (model name IAB). The imaging technology offered in three different models with a standard resolution of 16:9 has the following options: 4K 146 inches, 2K 146 inches and 2K 110 inches.
The Wall All-in-One, which is only 59 mm thick after installation, can operate without the need for a separate device. A clean installation can be done with the input link on the screen.
In addition to these two giant screen products, Samsung also announced outdoor solutions called OHA 55”, 75”. Screens validated by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) can be used in electric vehicle charging stations.
