Samsung’s Gaming Hub platform has started to come to the company’s game-oriented monitors after televisions. The new Odyssey player monitors, introduced by Samsung at Gamescom, have features that provide fast access to cloud services such as game-oriented Xbox Cloud Gaming, Google Stadia, Amazon Luna and Nvidia GeForce Now. In fact, we can say that the Odyssey G70B and G65B monitors introduced are the first products to have both Gaming Hub and Smart Platform.

Thanks to the Smart Platform and Gaming Hub features, Samsung states that both the G70B and G65B monitors can create a home office environment without the need for a computer. Both monitors are compatible with Samsung DeX and Office 365, while screen mirroring enables access to streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. In addition, thanks to the built-in microphone on the devices, voice assistant services can also be used.

Samsung Odyssey G70B and G65B specifications

Samsung’s Odyssey G70B solution comes in 28 and 32 inch screen size options. Offering 144 Hz refresh and 1ms response time on its flat IPS panel, the monitor also promises 4K resolution. However, the monitor is fully compatible with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSyncs Premium Pro. On the Odyssey G65B side, there is FreeSyncs Premium Pro compatibility and a QHD curved display with 1ms response time. This monitor offers 27 and 32 inch options and 240 Hz refresh rate.

Samsung has not yet shared any pricing information for the Odyssey G70B and G65B. However, the monitors are expected to be released worldwide in the last quarter of 2022.
