In addition to being present in many areas of technology, Samsung is also a company that performs social responsibility activities. One of such projects of the company is to train guide dogs for visually impaired people.
Making a new attempt in this regard, Samsung announced that it delivered 8 guide dogs to the visually impaired at the ceremony held at the Samsung Guide Dog School in Yongin, about 50 kilometers south of Seoul. After 2 years of training at Samsung Guide Dog School, the dogs adopted will be friends and eyes for their visually impaired partners for about 7 years.
The event also featured a retirement ceremony for the company’s previously adopted dogs, who had accompanied their partners for 6 to 8 years, back to school. After completing their tasks, the 6 dogs that return to their homes will now enjoy life at school as non-responsible pets.
