We can be considered at an early stage for foldable phones. Various problems of these phones, especially the screen, have not been fully resolved yet. Samsung, one of the most important brands in the foldable phone market, is also working overtime to solve these problems. Samsung, which will soon introduce the Galaxy Fold 4 model, has taken an important step in the foldable phone screen.
The fold mark on the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 screen is reduced
We can count the folding line on the screens as the biggest problem in foldable phones. This line can be seen easily on Samsung’s foldable phones. This crease is also seen in a leaked image of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4. However, it can be said that an important step has been taken in this regard.
Twitter user named Ice Universe compared the screens of Galaxy Fold 3 and Fold 4 in his new post. Accordingly, the fold trace in the Fold 4 model is still not removed, but this time it is clearly seen that it is not as obvious as its predecessor.
According to the information received, Samsung has reduced the folding mark by 20 percent. This development is clearly seen in the shared image. However, having such a layer on the phone’s screen can be annoying. Although it is useful with its foldable structure, we hope that this situation will disappear completely in the Galaxy Fold models in the future.
Motorala and Oppo have minimized the screen problem experienced. Both brands seem to have solved the folding trace problem with their new hinge design. Samsung, on the other hand, has not yet been able to eliminate this problem with its narrower hinge. The Korean manufacturer can solve this problem with the teardrop hinge design adopted by other brands in its next models.
Let us remind you that this folding trace on the screen does not adversely affect the user experience. Still, we expect smoother screens from Samsung in the future. So what do you think about the Samsung foldable phone screen? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
