Samsung’s new generation foldable phone Galaxy Z Fold 7 comes with significant improvements on the camera side. The biggest innovation will be the main camera upgraded to 200 megapixels. Higher resolution will make a significant difference in terms of detailed shots and low light performance. In addition, the under -screen selfie camera is being developed. This system, which was criticized for low resolution in previous models, is expected to be updated with a better sensor.

However, there is no change in all cameras. The ultra wide -angle camera remains 12 megapixels and Telephoto Lens remains 10 megapixels. Likewise, there will be no innovation on the 10 megapixel selfie camera on the outer screen. However, thanks to Samsung’s advanced image processing algorithms, a general improvement in camera performance is expected, even if the hardware remains the same.

The company is said to have a serious software optimization to improve the quality of photography on foldable phones. Thanks to artificial intelligence -supported image processing, more clear details, advanced dynamic range and lower light will be more successful shots.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be introduced in July with the Galaxy Z Flip 7. It is also claimed that Samsung is working on a new “Tri-Fold” model with three panels and two hinges. However, it is not yet clear whether this model will be released this year.
