Achieving a large share of the cake in the foldable phone market, Samsung continues its efforts to expand the Galaxy Z Flip series, which has achieved significant sales figures. The South Korean manufacturer showcased the Z Flip 4 last year, and by 2023, it has made great strides over the device’s successor, the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The design of the foldable phone has recently emerged, and one of the claims has been confirmed.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be the largest flip display Flip model
The design of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 was shared by Ice Universe, which is known for its leaks in the industry. Accordingly, it turned out that the claims about the cover screen of the smartphone are true. The foldable phone will be the largest screened Flip model ever, with a 3.4-inch notched outer display.
Galaxy Z Flip and Z Flip 5G appeared before users with a very small 1.1-inch cover screen. The South Korean manufacturer preferred a 1.9-inch external display in the Z Flip 3 model, which it launched in 2021. With the Galaxy Z Flip 5, which will be introduced very soon, the cover screen will grow for the second time in the history of the series, reaching 3.4 inches.
