READING NOW Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra’s processor has become clear: Exynos will be bypassed
As you know, Samsung has officially announced its new processor, Exynos 2400, and it seems likely that this chip will be used in the upcoming Galaxy S24 series. However, this processor may bypass the Galaxy S24 Ultra. In a new report from Korea, important information was shared about the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra.

The processor of Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has become clear

According to Korea-based The Elec, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus will use Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, depending on the region where it is sold. At this point, it seems likely that the Exynos version will be released in Africa, Asia (including South Korea), Europe and Latin America, while the Snapdragon-equipped version will be released in North America (Canada and the USA).

On the other hand, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, regardless of the region or market in which it is sold. This is similar to the approach taken by Samsung with the Galaxy S22 series. Additionally, The Elec reported that the decision in question has reached the final stage. Therefore, it seems unlikely that the company will change its strategy.

The reason for this may be the performance difference between Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. For those who don’t know, the Exynos 2400 chip is reportedly manufactured on Samsung Foundry’s 4nm LPP+ node and has a 10-core CPU. The upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 may use TSMC’s 3nm manufacturing node, similar to the Apple A17 Pro.

On the other hand, it is worth noting that this information has not been confirmed yet. We will learn more about the process at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit to be held this month.
