Ice Universe, known for its sources close to Samsung and making reliable leaks about the company’s many plans, shared information about the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which will be introduced in 2024. According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have the same main camera as the Galaxy S23 Ultra but with an improved telephoto sensor.
The source did not share any information about the features of the telephoto sensor, but LG Innotek recently announced a new telephoto lens. LG’s new sensor offers lossless zooming between 4x and 9x, just like a DLSR. We do not know if Samsung will use LG’s telephoto sensor, but a similar technology-supported telephoto sensor may be announced by Samsung soon.
