It’s no secret that Samsung will announce the Galaxy S24 series next year, and it seems that the company is determined not to fall behind the iPhone 15. According to a recent leak, Samsung plans to use titanium for the Galaxy S24 series. Although the smartphone still has glass on the back to support wireless charging, its frame will be made of titanium. This may be a detail that will make it easier for the S24 to compete with the recently released Apple iPhone 15 Pro models, which have a titanium frame.
It also looks like Samsung plans to use multiple sources for titanium frames, possibly to meet demand. According to Revegnus, Samsung will produce frames for the Galaxy S24 on its production line in Vietnam, but will also supply frames from two other partners.
Samsung has not yet officially announced any details about the Galaxy S24 series. However, a number of leaks have emerged that give some reasonable ideas as to what we can expect from Samsung’s upcoming high-end phone. According to leaks, Samsung plans to use the Exynos 2400 processor in Asia, Africa and Europe, but Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be used in Canada, China and the USA models. Additionally, the Galaxy S24 will have up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
Besides these, the Galaxy S24 series may also have a much brighter screen. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to come with a massive 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 3,120 x 1,440 and a dazzling peak brightness of 2,500nits. Samsung may also opt out of using a curved display on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which would be a big change from Samsung’s usual curved design.
