We’ve been seeing a lot of leaks and rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S22 in recent months, but right now, one new piece of news will be about the next flagship Galaxy S23, which we expect to be released in 2023.
According to the famous source @Universalce, who often leaks accurate information, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be the first Samsung smartphone to feature a 200MP sensor in its camera. While this 200 MP camera sensor is expected to be the ISOCELL HP1, which Samsung introduced earlier, it makes a difference as it will take high-end photos in low light and will be the first sensor that can record 8K video at 30 fps.
While the current camera technology allows shooting up to 24 frames in 8K resolution, the Galaxy S21 Ultra also benefits from this technology. While the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has a 108 MP main camera, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to come with similar camera features. It is claimed that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have 2 12 MP telephoto cameras, a 12 MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 108 MP main sensor.
Whether we will see Samsung’s ISOCELL HP1 sensor first on the Galaxy S23 or on another phone is hard to predict for now; we’ll wait and see.
