It seems certain that Samsung will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset worldwide in the Galaxy S23 series. However, the company can take this a step further and use a special, more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 version to be produced for its new flagship phones.
The well-recorded leak resource @UniverseIce says it has done some research and found a variety of evidence to support this claim. First of all, Ice Universe has released a screenshot from a benchmark for the Samsung Galaxy S23 that shows an operating speed (clock speed) of up to 3.36 GHz, which is higher than the 3.2 GHz that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 typically offers. It later claimed that there are multiple different model numbers for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 The highest frequency of CPU is 3.2GHz, but Samsung S23 is as high as 3.36GHz, which is an unsolved mystery. Two possibilities: 1. Samsung monopolizes the high-frequency CPU 2.This is just Samsung's early test, and the follow-up will reach 3.2GHz. pic.twitter.com/2UQot8JPOy

Finally, Samsung claims they have “confirmed” that the Galaxy S23 will use a Samsung-exclusive high-frequency version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Also, interestingly, he says that this chip will be used in the European version of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Therefore, it is not yet clear whether the same version will be used in the rest of the world.
Still, at least in Europe, the Galaxy S23 and its siblings may be the most powerful Android phones on the planet. Of course, as always, it is useful to approach this leak with some skepticism for now.
