Performance scores of Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 compared to S22 Ultra
At the Galaxy Unpacked event, which will take place next week, the Galaxy S22 family, which will include new models of Samsung, will be introduced. Of course, among these models is the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The S22 Ultra, which will come to the market with two different processors, Exynos and Snapdragon, is already wondering which one will perform better. The answer to the question soon appeared.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has been subjected to performance tests on Geekbench with both Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The S22 Ultra, which appears on Geekbench with the model numbers SM-S908U and SM-S908B, houses the Exynos 2200 chipset in the SM-S908U version. The SM-S908B has Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
According to the test results, the S22 Ultra with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset scores 1168 points in the single core test, while the S22 Ultra with the Exynos 2200 chipset scores 1226 points. In other words, the S22 Ultra with a single-core Exynos chipset shows slightly higher performance. Exynos 2200, which scored 3462 in the multi-core test, this time succumbs to Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which scored 3508. In other words, Snapdragon performs better in the multi-core test. However, in general, we can say that both processors achieved very close results.
