Samsung is preparing to introduce the Galaxy S22 family. Samsung will reduce the memory size of the Galaxy S22 Ultra!
While Samsung is aiming to announce its next Galaxy S flagships in February, a new leak indicates there may be a planned price change for the company’s high-end phone lineup. According to a tweet from WinFuture’s Roland Quandt, the base models of the Galaxy S22 Plus and Ultra are scheduled to cost 1049 euros and 1249 euros, respectively.

This means that in 2022, Samsung’s Galaxy S series will cost as much as it did in 2021. What’s more, Quandt’s post shows that the company will continue to charge an additional €50 for a storage increase in the standard and Plus models.
The only thing expected to change is that the Ultra model that Samsung will introduce this year will come with less RAM than its predecessor. Allegedly, in Europe, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be shipped with 8 GB of RAM. However, it will be sold for the same money as the Galaxy S21 Ultra with 12 GB of RAM, 1249 Euros. It is said that this is due to the S Pen, namely the Note effect.
Consumers in Europe will have to pay an additional fee of 100 Euros to get the S22 Ultra with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It is not yet clear whether Samsung will implement the same pricing strategy in the US or in our country. However, the allegations suggest that this is a global policy.
Expected features of Galaxy S22 Ultra
According to the leaks, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a 6.8-inch 2K AMOLED panel. The highest brightness of the screen is expected to be 1800 nits. In addition, the 5000mAh battery of the smartphone will come with 45W fast charging feature. But an adapter will not come out of the box.
