Recently, Samsung introduced the new Galaxy S22 series. With the introduction, many users liked the features of the device. According to the new performance tests that have emerged, the new Galaxy series is slightly behind the iPhone 13.

iPhone 13 has a faster CPU than Galaxy S22 series!

Samsung’s new Galaxy S22 family includes Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the fastest processor of Snapdragon. Thanks to this, smartphones are among the fastest Android devices. According to the Geekbench 5 test conducted by PCMag, the iPhone 13 is faster than the Samsung Galaxy S22 series.

iPhone 13 Pro Max with A15 Bionic processor achieved 4,647 points in the multi-core test. Galaxy S22 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor got 3,433 points from this test. According to these results, the iPhone 13 Pro Max runs approximately 35 percent faster than the Galaxy S22 Ultra thanks to its CPU.

Galaxy S22 series models sold in the USA are equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Models sold in Europe are equipped with the company’s newest processor, the Exynos 2200. Considering that the Exynos 2200 scored 3000 points in multiple performance tests, Apple seems to be quite ahead of the competition.

In addition, PCMag conducted a Geekbench ML test to measure the machine learning performance of smartphones. In this test, the iPhone 13 Pro Max scored 948, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra scored 448. This proves that the iPhone 13 series offers better performance than the Galaxy S22 series.
