Samsung, one of the successful names of the mobile industry for many years, introduces its new flagship series in the first quarter of every year. Announcing new Galaxy S models most of the time in January, the manufacturer revives the upper segment with various design changes. However, this year the new series may be introduced later than expected.
Both the recent pandemic process and the chip shortage in the industry prevent large companies from introducing new products, and cause the products to be supplied late. The last victim of this situation will probably be Samsung. According to the allegations, there may be a problem in the supply of the new Galaxy S22 series.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series to be introduced late
South Korean technology giant Samsung, which has been working on the Galaxy S21 FE model for a while, has repeatedly delayed its new phone due to chip problems. This phone, which has not yet been introduced, has also raised question marks for the upcoming flagships. As a matter of fact, the fact that the phone, which is expected to be introduced next month, has chip problems several times and cannot be introduced, shows that the same can be experienced in the upcoming flagships.
The new Galaxy S22 series, which was expected to be introduced in mid-January for the first time, was being pushed forward day by day. Although the company did not announce this, sources said that we will see the series in late January and early February. However, that may not be the case. As a matter of fact, chip and supply problems show that the Galaxy S22 will be postponed to a later date.
Claims made by Jan Prosser said that the new series will be available for pre-order on February 9 and it will take time to reach users. According to the leak, the new flagship series will reach users on February 25. People who buy one of the phones in pre-order will only be able to get this device at the end of the month.
