The Galaxy A20 series, which is the most preferred among Samsung’s affordable entry-level smartphones, finally gets the 2023 model. The new Samsung Galaxy A24 has appeared on Samsung’s Vietnam site with all its features.
The Samsung Galaxy A24 features a relatively smaller screen compared to the previous year’s model, the Galaxy A23. The device will host the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset this year, unlike the Snapdragon 695 chipset used last year. The chipset was released earlier this year.
Introducing the new Samsung Galaxy A24:
The Samsung Galaxy A24 is home to a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display. The screen of the device offers FHD + resolution. The front-facing camera retains the same design used in the Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A20 series and is housed within the drop notch on the screen.
Promising enough performance for today with the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, the device will have 6 and 8 GB RAM options. The device now offers 128GB of storage, which has become the new standard in the phone world. Users will be able to expand the storage with microSD.
The camera setup of the device carries the design of the Galaxy S23 series. The 50 MP main camera, 5 MP ultra wide-angle camera and 2 MP macro camera are located in a setup that does not include any protruding design.
The device is home to a 5,000 mAh battery that can last longer than a day with its hardware. The device has 25 W fast charging support.
