Samsung plans to offer the Android 12L update to models other than the latest foldable screen phones Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4. The Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update will start rolling out to Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 models starting today. Samsung is also planning to give Android 12L update for Galaxy Z Fold2, Galaxy Z Flip and the first Galaxy Fold. However, new features will come to these models a little late.

Features such as the new taskbar will be added, allowing users to access and switch between applications faster. There will also be new multitasking gestures. Previous-generation Flip phone users will be able to preview photos in quick capture mode. The cover screen will now be more functional. Users will be able to make calls, return calls, reply to messages and access quick settings directly from the small screen.
