A new claim has been made about the performance of the Exynos 2400 chipset that will be used in Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 series. Allegedly, the chipset can perform better than the Apple A17 Pro.

The account that made the claim is Revegnus, famous for Samsung leaks. Revegnus claims that the Exynos 2400, which has a GPU jointly developed by Samsung and AMD, surpasses the A17 Pro in GPU performance.

It will be produced with 4nm

The user also states that the Exynos 2400 is produced with Samsung’s improved 4nm manufacturing process. Samsung’s most advanced manufacturing process, 3nm, appears to have not been used. It is reported that the company made such a choice because it increased efficiency and performance in 4nm. Exynos 2400 will also be produced with a new packaging technology called FOWLP (Fan-out Wafer Level Packaging). With this technology, the chip thickness decreases, making it easier to distribute heat.

Samsung had previously given some information about the Eynos 2400 at an event. He announced that the new chipset will offer 70% higher CPU performance compared to Exynos 2200, as well as 14.7 times higher synthetic performance. As a reminder, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be used in the Galaxy 24 series along with Exynos 2400, depending on the market.
