Samsung does not stand still: Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 get Android 13 update

This week continues to be quite busy for Samsung and quite enjoyable for users. The company had released Android 13-based One UI 5.0 updates for the Galaxy S20 series, Note20 series, S21 series, Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33 5G. Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are next.

Android 13 update for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4

Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 join their fellow brethren by receiving the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update. However, the update is currently only available to users in the US who are enrolled in the One UI 5.0 beta program. Samsung will start to distribute this update in other countries in the coming days.

The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update will come to Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 with a software version ending in “BVK3”. The update also includes the November 2022 security patch. You can go to Settings > Software update menu to check for updates on your Fold 4/Flip 4 device.
