Samsung does not intend to produce electric cars

Samsung prefers to sell parts to electric car manufacturers

According to The Korea Times, two anonymous senior Samsung employees stated that Samsung will not produce electric cars. According to the news, the biggest reason for Samsung’s decision is that the electric car business will not bring a sustainable income. In addition, Samsung does not want to conflict with the companies that it sells parts for electric cars.

Samsung, which has lost revenue in the smartphone market, earns serious income by selling electronic parts to other companies and does not want to reduce these revenues by entering the electric car market. It seems that Samsung will continue to sell parts to electric car manufacturers instead of producing electric cars.
