Water resistance is usually a feature of high-end smartphones with advanced technology. While Samsung has applied this rule on the phones it has introduced so far, it seems that it will follow a different path with the year 2022.
Samsung’s Galaxy A series has been very popular. The fact that it has many flagship phone features and is more affordable than high-end models contributes a lot to this. Samsung will also be pleased that it is considering adding more features to its upcoming Galaxy A series phones. The first of these is water resistance.
A report from The Elec also supports this. Mentioning that the company’s future Galaxy A series phones may include water and dust resistance, the report says that this movement will begin with the Galaxy A33.
Samsung will supply the silicone parts required for dust and waterproofing from the South Korean company Yuaiel. In addition, the company, which simplifies the production process by making its smartphones resistant to water and dust, has also facilitated mass production. However, it seems unlikely that some devices will receive the same protection as flagship models. Presumably Samsung will go for an IP class rating by model. We’ll see what happens together. . .
