Samsung Expert RAW; It has features such as multi-frame HDR, low-light performance (enhanced night shooting mode) developed by combining data from multiple sensors, and RAW shooting on a telephoto camera. It can also save images as lossless JPEG and 16-bit DNG RAW, as it integrates directly with the Adobe Lightroom application.
Expert RAW support will be coming to the following models in the first half of 2022:
- Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra
- Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
- Galaxy Z Fold 2
Samsung focuses on 3 different criteria when determining the devices that Expert RAW will support. First, the phone has to run the lowest Exynos 990 or Snapdragon 865 processor. In addition, it must be using a telephoto lens that supports Bayer RAW, which can zoom 2x and above with at least 8 GB of RAM support.
