At CES 2024 we will see a wide variety of QD-OLED monitors from various manufacturers. Samsung, which will offer many options for next year, signaled that it will offer more QD-OLED monitors with the new monitor it introduced. In this context, the company announced two new QD-OLED gaming monitors, 31.5″ and 27″ models, which will be released next year.

New QD-OLEDs are coming from Samsung

In the announcement made by the company itself, it was stated that two QD-OLED monitors were prepared, 31.5″ and 27″ models. The 31.5-inch model will come with a flat panel design with UHD resolution (3840×2160) and 140 PPI pixel density. The model will be a high-end variant targeting the high-end gaming segment. Samsung states that AMD is one of the main partners powering these high refresh rates and next-generation displays with its RDNA 3 GPU architecture.

Samsung’s second QD-OLED model will have a 27-inch design with a flat screen and QHD screen resolution (2560×1440). This monitor can provide a 360 Hz refresh rate. Therefore, the future monitor itself will directly target eSports and high-end users who want a high refresh rate.

According to Samsung, both QD-OLED gaming monitors are currently in mass production and will be available at retail next year following the announcement at CES 2024. Samsung also states that it plans to expand its product range and triple its total display shipments in 2024 compared to last year.
