Samsung has models called “FE”, which are appreciated by users due to their more affordable price, but are not regularly released. The company last brought this model to us with the S21 series in 2021, and skipped the S22. However, the leaks in the past months made the future of the S23 FE almost certain.
Now, there has been an important development about the highly anticipated phone. The South Korean technology giant opened a help page for the Galaxy S23 FE on its website in Kazakhstan. The device was seen to have the model number “SM-S711B/DS”. This number is the same as the previously leaked model number for the phone, including the Geekbench listing.
What features will the Galaxy S23 FE have?
Although the product page opened by Samsung does not offer many details about the S23 FE, we know more or less about the features of the device from the information released in recent months. The device, which will be an affordable version of the flagship S23 series, is expected to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 processor depending on the market in which it is offered.
It is estimated that the Galaxy S23 FE will have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Dual SIM feature, 4,500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 are also among the leaked features.
Finally, let’s take a look at what kind of camera the phone will have. The Galaxy S23 FE will likely have a 50MP main, 8MP telephoto and 12MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, we will encounter a 10MP selfie camera.
For now, there is no information about when the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be introduced. But sources say it could arrive in the next few months.
