Former CEO of FTX, SBF’s days in the Bahamas seem numbered. SBF, who was recently arrested in his apartment in the country’s capital, sought extradition to the United States. The former CEO is currently in Fox Hill prison, which is known to be overcrowded and dangerous.

After a week in custody, the SBF appeared before Judge Shaka Serville to request extradition to the United States.

SBF’s request was accepted at the last hearing. However, no exact date has been set for when it will be returned. The New York Times noted that the SBF could arrive this afternoon, US local time, to face trial in Federal District Court.

The SBF faces eight felony charges that could result in life imprisonment if convicted. The most important of these accusations include defrauding investors and money laundering.
